Share a report with a client
A report link is a read-only web page with the clicks for one link or one campaign. Anyone with the link can open it, with no login, and it stays up to date on its own.
When to use it
- An agency sends a client a live report for their Diwali campaign instead of a new spreadsheet every week.
- A creator shows a brand how many people clicked the sponsored link.
Create a report link
- Open the Share report window:
- For a link: on the Links page, open the link's menu and click Share click report.
- For a campaign: open the campaign, click Analytics, then click Share report.
- In Title the client sees, type a name, for example "Diwali campaign — weekly report".
- Under Link expires, pick Never, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
- Optional: turn on Hide Stackly branding (Growth and above).
- Click Create report link. The link is copied for you, ready to paste.
Send, copy or turn off a link
Your links show under Active links, with the number of views and when each one expires.
- Copy: copy the link again.
- WhatsApp: send it in a WhatsApp chat.
- Open: see exactly what your client sees.
- Turn off: stop the link working. The client then sees "This report isn't available".
caution
Turning off a link can't be undone. To share again, create a new link.
What your client sees
- The title you chose and a date switch: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or All time.
- Cards for Clicks, Avg per day, and Unique visitors and Top country (for a link) or Channels and Top channel (for a campaign).
- Clicks Over Time, Geographic Distribution, Top Referrers, Top cities, Devices, Browsers and Operating systems.
- For a campaign, the Channel Performance Comparison too.
They can't edit anything or see your other links. They don't see visitors' IP addresses.

- Report links have no password. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with the right person.
- You can make more than one link for the same report, for example one per person, and turn each off on its own.
Troubleshooting
- Client sees "This report link is incomplete" → The link was cut off when pasted. Click Copy and send it again.
- Client sees "This report isn't available" → The link expired or was turned off. Create a new one.
