Campaigns
A campaign is one offer (one destination page) with its own short link for each place you share it: Instagram, WhatsApp, email, ads and more. Stackly adds the UTM tags for you and adds up the clicks for the whole campaign.
When to use it
- A bakery posts its Diwali sale on Instagram, a WhatsApp broadcast and an email newsletter. Each gets its own link, so the owner sees which one brought the most visitors.
Create a campaign Growth+
- In the left menu, under Grow, click Campaigns.
- Click Create Campaign. Or, on an empty page, pick a ready-made plan under Or Launch From A Campaign Blueprint and click Use this blueprint.
- Under Campaign details, enter a Campaign name (for example "Diwali Sale 2026") and the Destination URL, the page people should land on.
- Optional: choose a Short link domain, pick Starts and Ends dates, and add a Description and Tags.
- Click Next: choose channels.
- Click each channel you use: Twitter / X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Email Newsletter, SMS Marketing or WhatsApp. For anything else, click Custom.
- Click Launch campaign.
Each channel now has its own short link with the campaign name, source and medium already tagged.
Use the campaign page
Click a campaign card to open it. You will see:
- Clicks, Channels, Top channel and the dates.
- A status switch: Active, Paused, Completed or Draft. This label helps you sort your list.
- The Channels tab: each channel's short link, its clicks and its share of the total. Use the buttons to copy the link, show or download the QR code, or open the link.
Compare channels
- On the campaign page, click Analytics.
- Pick a time range: Last 7 Days, Last 14 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days or All Time.
- Read the cards: Clicks, Channels, Top channel and Avg per day.
- Check Channel Performance Comparison to see which channel won. You also get Clicks Over Time, Geographic Distribution, Top Referrers, Devices, Browsers and Operating systems.
To send these results to a client, click Share report. See Share a report with a client.
Add a channel
- Open the campaign and click Add channel.
- Pick from Quick pick (this list also has TikTok and Google Ads), or type a Channel name, utm_source and utm_medium.
- Optional: change the Destination URL, Short link domain or Custom slug (the part after the slash).
- Click Add channel.
To remove one, click the bin icon on its row. Its short link stops being counted in this campaign.
Edit a campaign
- Open the campaign and click the Settings tab (or click the pencil on the card).
- Change the details and click Save changes.
Delete a campaign
- On the Campaigns page, click the bin icon on the campaign's card.
- Confirm.
caution
You can't undo deleting a campaign.
Good to know
- Campaigns are on Growth and higher plans. On Free and Starter, the menu shows a Pro badge and the page asks you to upgrade.
- Each campaign name must be different from your other campaign names.
- Use the tabs All, Active, Paused, Completed and Draft, or Search campaigns, to find one fast.
Troubleshooting
- "Campaign with name … already exists" → Pick a different name, for example add the year.
