Data retention

Stackly keeps your click data (who clicked, when and from where) for a set time that depends on your plan. After that, the clicks move to an archive for 60 days, and then they're deleted.

Check how long your data is kept

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the left menu.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. In the settings menu, click Data Retention.

The page shows three boxes:

BoxWhat it means
Live analyticsHow many days of clicks show in your dashboard on your plan, or Kept forever.
In archiveHow many clicks are in the archive, and their dates.
Archive kept60 days. After that, archived clicks are deleted for good.

How it works

  1. Every night, clicks older than your plan's window leave your dashboard and analytics.
  2. They stay in the archive for 60 days.
  3. Then they're deleted and can't be brought back.

To see the window for each plan, check Analytics History on the plans page under Billing & Plans.

Download archived clicks Growth+

  1. On the Data Retention page, go to Export archived data.
  2. Pick a start and end day, or leave both empty to get the whole archive.
  3. Click Request export.
  4. Under Your exports, click Download CSV.

The CSV file opens in Excel or Google Sheets. Times in it are in IST.

Before you downgrade

A lower plan may keep clicks for fewer days, so older clicks move to the archive sooner.

  1. Download any reports you need from Analytics.
  2. While you're still on Growth or higher, export your archive as a CSV.
  3. Then change your plan.
caution

Archived clicks are deleted after 60 days. Once deleted, they can't be recovered.

Good to know

  • Downloading archived data is on Growth and higher plans. On other plans, you'll see Upgrade instead.
  • You can request up to 5 exports a day.
  • If your plan keeps all analytics, nothing is archived.

Troubleshooting

  • "Nothing is archived yet" → None of your clicks are older than your plan's window yet.
  • "There's no archived data in that range yet." → Pick dates inside the archive, or leave both empty.
