Personal links

A personal link list gives each person their own short link to the same page, like stackly.in/p/aB3x9. When someone clicks, you know it was them.

When to use it​

  • Online stores: see which VIP customers opened your WhatsApp offer, then re-send to "Not yet" the next day.
  • Real estate and insurance agents: call the leads who actually opened your brochure first.
  • Agencies and freelancers: know when a client opened your proposal before you follow up.
  • Schools and coaching institutes: make sure every parent saw the fee or exam notice.
  • Event organisers: see who opened your invite, not just who registered.
  • Recruiters: follow up with candidates who read the job description.

Create a list​

  1. In the left menu, under Grow, click Personal Links.
  2. Click New list. Or pick an idea, such as Online stores & D2C brands, to fill in the message and tags for you.
  3. Type a List name and the Link to send.
  4. Check utm_source and utm_medium (for example whatsapp and message). The campaign tag is set from the list name for you.
  5. Write the Message. {name} becomes the person's first name and {link} their own link.
  6. Under People, paste one person per line (name, phone, email), or click Upload CSV.
  7. Check the count and the preview, then click Create N links (for example Create 40 links).

See who clicked​

Open a list to see:

  • People, Clicked, Not yet and Click rate
  • tabs to show All, Clicked or Not yet, and a search box
  • for each person who clicked: when they first clicked, how many times they opened it, and their city and device

On each person's row:

  • WhatsApp opens a chat with your message filled in (shown when they have a phone number).
  • Email opens a new email with your message (shown when they have an email).
  • Click their link to copy it, or Message to copy the full message.

Export, turn off or delete a list​

  • Click CSV to download everyone with their link, clicks, opens, first and last click, city and device.
  • Use the Live / Off switch to pause the whole list. While it's off, every link shows "This personal link is paused".
  • Click the bin button to delete the list.
caution

Deleting a list deletes all its links. Anyone who opens one sees "link not found". This can't be undone.

Good to know​

  • Each person uses one short link from your plan. The form shows how many you have left. Deleting a list gives them back.
  • Up to 500 people per list. CSV files must be under 2 MB.
  • Links stop working 30 days after you create them.
  • Phone numbers with 10 digits are treated as Indian (+91) for WhatsApp.
  • When a free trial ends, a banner says Your free trial has ended. Your lists keep working, but you need a paid plan to create new ones.

Troubleshooting​

  • No WhatsApp button for someone → Their line had no phone number. Add it and make a new list.
  • "Not enough links left on your plan" → Send to fewer people or upgrade your plan.
  • Some lines were skipped → Each line needs at least a name, phone or email.
